We enjoyed our stay however it could have been more pleasant if the house & outdoors were cleaner . The house is old so hard to keep it very clean … skirting boards all pretty dirty . The kitchen is very badly organised with little space in pantry and a tiny dishwasher which certainly didn’t help over the Christmas stay . We were very disappointed how dirty the outdoor area was . The barbecue area was filthy with cobwebs over all the chairs and leaves and debris everywhere… The back yard was also in need of a garden cleanup .If you have an adventurous dog the fencing is not amazing to keep them secure. On the positive the view is amazing and it was good to be able to take our dogs away with us .

Great place for our large clan to gather and a base for oir exploration right up to Bay of islands. Had to carry my larger elder dog up and down the stairs so she could stay upstairs with us, but well worth it. If she was happier outside or more of us were spending time downstairs she would have beem fine with that too. Great place, great stay. Cheers.

Bei gutem Wetter gerne wieder. Positive: Lage sehr gut. Ansonsten ist es ein etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist Haus. Bei starkem wind klappern alle Fenster. Zu dieser Jahreszeit gerade noch machbar, wenn es draußen kälter sein sollte, nicht zu empfehlen. Sehr positives zu erwähnen, dass eine gute Ausstattung mit Geschirr vorhanden ist. Weiterhin waren viele Sachen wie Kaffee, Tee, Gewürze und viele weiteres Koch Zubehör vorhanden. Ein besonderes Highlight ist der auf dem Grundstück offenbar heimische Koala, den wir täglich begrüßen konnten. Negative: Wie schon erwähnt, war es schwierig, das Haus warm zu bekommen. Letztendlich musste der Kamin angeheizt werden. Die Heizfunktion der Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert. Es wäre auch schön, wenn die Fenster so sauber gewesen wären, dass man die gute Aussicht ungestört hätte genießen können. In einem Schlafzimmerschrank lag noch ein Socken.
